RSS Feeds

What is RSS?

RSS is an acronym for 'Really Simple Syndication'. Essentially it is a standard format for representing data in such a way that people are able to receive and read that data in a form that suits them best. There are a multitude of RSS feed readers out there and more are being added all the time. Some of these include: Newz Crawler, FeedDemon, Newsfire, NetNewsWire, Bloglines, FeedZilla, NewsGator, Microsoft Live, My Yahoo!, Mozilla Firefox, even Microsoft Outlook 2007 allows you to read RSS feeds.

What can I do with it?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. With the Born Free Books RSS feeds you can see what books people are picking up and dropping off as well as personalised feeds that show only your connected friends' activity on the site.

We have multiple RSS data feeds available to you. To subscribe to a feed, click on the RSS image or text link for that feed and follow the instructions in your browser window.
